- Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) (must be cleared 30 days before event)

Deposit: 50% is payable to secure your items. Remaining 50% is payable 30 days prior to the event booking.
Hirer's Responsibility
The Hirers responsibility for all equipment hired, commences on receipt of the Equipment by the Hirer and ends when the hired equipment is restored in the same condition as it was hired to the Supplier.
The Hirer shall accept full responsibility for the safe keeping of the equipment and goods hired and fully indemnifies the Owner for all loss, theft or damage of the equipment however caused, without limiting the Hirer's liability as to whether or not such loss, theft or damage is attributable to any negligence, failure or omission of the Hirer. The responsibility for the care and safety of all items hired is solely the responsibility of the client. Where a theft occurs while items are under the care and control of the hirer, then the obligation for replacement is the hirer’s.
The Hirer shall be responsible for any claims or demands which may be made by any person in relation to the equipment or goods hired or the owner of the hire goods, whether for damage to property, personal injury or for any cause whatsoever and in any way arising out of the use of the equipment by the Hirer or any defect in the equipment.
Cancellations*
If the event/booking is cancelled by the hirer, the following cancellation fees will apply:
- Cancellation of any booking, with 30 days or more notice from the event, will result in a cancellation fee of 30% of the original hire value. Any remaining fees paid will be refunded in the same method in which they were paid.
- Cancellation of any booking that occurs with less than 30 days’ notice from the event, but more than 14 days’ notice from the original booking, will result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the original hire value. Any remaining fees paid will be refunded in the same method they were paid.
- Cancellation of any booking that occurs less than 7 - 14 days of the event will result in a cancellation fee of 75% of the original hire value.
- Cancellation of any booking that occurs less than 7 days of the event will result in 100% of the original hire fee being retained.
*Adjustments to the cancellations policy can me made at the discretion of the owners of Mudgee Event Hire
Security Bond
An additional 20% of the total cost of hire items is charged as a security bond. This is refunded upon return of hire items once they are inspected and found to be clean, dry and free from damage. The bond is refunded in the same payment method it was paid.
Hire Team
Our standard hire term is 1-7 days. Longer hire periods will be negotiated on a case by case nature. If the hirer is collecting the items and dropping them off, pickup and drop off is available Monday – Friday 9am – 3pm. Pick up and drop off outside of those times need to be made by appointment and is subject to availability.
Deliveries
For weekend functions, deliveries are usually made Thursday or Friday. Pick up is Monday or Tuesday. The acceptation to this is our wedding ceremony packages, delivery and collection can be arranged for the Saturday.
For midweek events, please arrange times and days with one of our staff.
If your event is out of hours or on public holidays, we can still cater to your needs, but extra charges may apply, please speak with our staff.
Marquees
- Peg and Pole marquees require additional room to install on a grass surface, to allow enough room for ropes. Eg: 5.5m x 10m requires a minimum 7.5m by 12m clear grass area.
- We also need to know of any underground utilities eg. Water pipes, electricity etc. However, we DO NOT take responsibility for any damage to underground utilities, and our placement of marquees is based on your information and is therefore 100% your responsibility.
- Free standing structures can be installed on grass or concrete surfaces. If going on concrete, these marquees need to be weighted.
Cleaning & Damages
- All crockery, glassware, catering equipment, carpets etc are to be returned clean and dry.
- A bond is charged with these items and is refunded in full if NO breakages or damages have occurred.
- All breakages and losses will be taken out of the pre-paid bond. Should breakages or damages exceed the bond, they must be paid for by the Hirer, minus the 20% bond which will automatically be retained as part of the payment.
- In the event that the hired goods are returned in a dirty state then a cleaning fee may be charged to the client.
Pick Up
In cases whereby the hirer is collecting the items, the hirer is solely responsible for the hire items, (see Hirer's Responsibility) including sufficient securing of the hired items for safe and secure transport. Any damages caused to the hire items or to the hirer’s property or property belonging to a third party is the responsibility of the hirer.
